Looking Toward Sunday
The fourth Sunday of Easter, which is this week, is sometimes referred to as “Good Shepherd Sunday” because of the use of Psalm 23 and John 10. The passages remind us of the protection, provision, and salvation by our loving God. In John 10:16, Jesus says, “I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.” The Good Shepherd is responsible for the make-up of the flock, but what is our role as the sheep?
Join us Sunday as we consider what it means to follow a God who is working to make one flock. We will add to our particular part of God’s flock this week, as we welcome new members.
