Children’s Education for 5th Grade and Younger

Pre-K and Under
Our littlest friends spend time learning about the Bible through story, crafts, and music using the Frolic curriculum. Learn more here. In addition to learning about the Bible in the preschool class, DHPC’s preschoolers will also get to partner with our older children to explore the Bible in unique ways, such as cooking, music, popular children’s books, and more. In addition, our kiddos will have the opportunity to put their learnings into action through different mission opportunities. Finally, the youngest members of DHPC will have the opportunity to learn more about Jesus’ love for them by exploring our all-ages spirituality center. These different offerings will be available on a rotational basis outlined below. Contact Associate Pastor for Education and Mission, Elizabeth Acton with any questions.

K – 5th Grade
DHPC’s kindergarten through 5th grade students will explore the foundational Bible stories of the Christian faith. These older kiddos will learn about the same story as our preschoolers, but in ways designed for older children. Our elementary students will also have the opportunity to assist with classroom leadership and teach the stories themselves on the Sundays the preschoolers join them.
