Looking Toward Sunday, August 20, 2017

This week, we continue our series, The Big Reveal, an exploration through the Book of Revelation.

Our passage for Sunday is another stunner, with images of thrones, elders decked out in white, and God who shines like gemstones. The company is complete when four creatures show up: a lion, ox, human, and eagle (each covered with eyes and six sets of wings). Endlessly, from day through night, they sing, “Holy, holy, holy.” And in response to creation’s praise, the elders fall forward to their knees and cast their golden crowns before the throne.”

I hope you’ll join us as we explore together how creation’s praise of God, our creator, causes great joy in heaven.

  • Scripture – Revelation 4:1-11
  • Worship Focus – The Big Reveal: God the Creator
  • Sermon Title – “All Creatures of our God and King”

Your homework for the weekend: get outside, take note of God’s beautiful creation, and offer up some praise of your own.

In Christ,

ShelliSignature
