We have been in the wilderness of Exodus for quite a while. In this Sunday’s passage, we begin to pivot towards the entrance into the Promised Land (which happens in Joshua and Moses dies before taking part in.) The Rev. Peter Hausmann, one of the clergy members of the DHPC community will offer our sermon as he explores this passage which is simultaneously disconcerting and comforting. We have a rich service with many DHPC members sharing their gifts, so make plans to join us at our pre-recorded service to hear Nicole Escobar share the anthem, and Lauren and Grayson Merceron offer the call to worship.
As you look forward to Sunday, during this time that is simultaneously disconcerting and offering signs that a new way is possible, may you trust that God is with us, always.
Scripture: Exodus 33:12-23
Reflection: “God’s Hand: God With Us and For Us”
I hope to see you in our live service via zoom, at 11 AM. It is always a joy when we can break bread together.
