What? Druid Hills Presbyterian members and friends, along with community members, will pack slightly more than 10,000 meals in partnership with Rise Against Hunger. Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable.
Volunteers will work in stations that include tasks such as scooping rice, weighing and sealing bags, labeling bags, and boxing bags, all while fun music plays and new friends are made! Watch this brief video to learn more about the process.
Who? There are ways for folks 5 and older to participate. We welcome people of all abilities, genders, races, religions… everyone!
When? Sunday, October 5, 11:30pm (You are also invited to a brief worship service at 11am, but participation in worship is entirely optional.)
Where? Druid Hills Presbyterian Church, 1026 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306.
Follow the path from the parking lot off of Ponce and enter through the glass door. The parlor will be right down the hall on your right.
