Our passage for this Sunday is a simple story of Jesus watching the happenings around the offering box. On the one hand, there are the wealthy folks in town, stuffing in large amounts of cash. And on the other, an unassuming widow drops in two coins. Join us this week, as we think about our patterns of giving to God.
On this special day, we will celebrate the sacrament of baptism, as little Amelia Escobar is welcomed into our family of faith in a fresh way. Join us as we make promises to love her and help her to know the love of Christ. We will also hear from Eric Dusenbury and Bob Battaglin about the traditions and visionary potential of DHPC mission ministries, as our Vintage & Visionary Reflection.
Scripture: Mark 12:38-44
Sermon: “It’s Not What it Looks Like”
I look forward to sharing this sacred time with you,
